Offered for sale are several Jinashi Shakuhachi/Hotchiku. These flutes are the result of trial and error as I learned the craft of shakuhachi making over the past two years.

These are one of a kind handcrafted pieces of functional art. Suitable for suizen (blowing meditation), Honkyoku, and solo practice.

These bamboo flutes are naturally preserved using a flame-curing or kiln-drying process. Additionally an ecofriendly, diluted lacquer is flushed through the bore and applied to the utaguchi for added protection against breath condensation.
